The Yum Yuck Hippy Paintings - artist statement

For all my projects I write a list of notes. Notes that I use as a guide. A guide that will help me remember the original ideas I had when I wrote the notes.
As Charles Manson said “no sense makes sense”. For The yum yuck hippy paintings, the notes where as follows:

Freddy Krueger
Tie-dye
1960’s
Checkers
Diamonds
Cigarettes
Abstract
Mess

(Then I had written a small reminder to myself at the end of the notes that read)
So you still want to make an abstract painting? Good luck idiot!
